In a nine day jury trial, Michael A. Sullivan of Finch McCranie LLP won a $10.4 million jury verdict for our firm’s client in a case of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and conspiracy to commit fraud and breach a fiduciary duty.

The defendants were our client’s former vice president, his wife, and the owners of a broker that was used by our client. The jury found that the executive and his wife conspired with others to obtain kickbacks. The jury awarded damages of 100% of the kickbacks paid of almost $1.7 million, plus another $8.75 million in punitive damages against the dishonest executive and broker.
